Somerset Chamber is collaborating with Business West to create the new Somerset Skills Plan to be published in the Spring. The Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) ensures local training and education match the skills employers need now and in the future.
We’re inviting Somerset businesses of all types and sizes to help shape the new Somerset Local Skills Improvement Plan.
By gathering employer insight we can identify skills gaps and influence how colleges and training providers respond. It’s about creating a talent pipeline that supports Somerset’s economy and your business growth.
Focus Groups bring together businesses to discuss the challenges and successes within your sector.
Why take part in a sector focus group?
We want a wide range of business types and sizes — from micro businesses and SMEs to large employers, charities, and social enterprises. Your perspective matters.
Register your place today.
Attendance criteria: This Skills Focus Group is for employers in the described sector, those in senior level roles or responsibility for recruitment, training and staff development. Training and employability support providers can contact lsip@somerset-chamber.co.uk to book a 1:1 meeting and help shape the Somerset Skills Plan.
