Join us for our popular construction specific networking group for construction and property industry professionals to hear an update from Agratas site developer, Sir Robert McAlpine.

This breakfast Construction Connections event will bring together like-minded individuals for relaxed networking. Come along, meet new contacts and share best practice. There will be breakfast rolls with tea and coffee.

Somerset will soon be home to the biggest electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility in the UK and we are delighted to be able to invite local business to find out more directly from the lead contractor, Sir Robert McAlpine.

The gigafactory will be built on the Gravity site at Puriton, near Bridgwater, and represents a £4 billion investment in Somerset, which will directly create 4,000 new jobs and thousands more in the wider supply chain. 

Please note: Construction Connections attendees are those representing businesses operating in the construction industry. Those who supply goods and/or services to the construction industry are also welcome. Construction Connections is an inclusive event aimed at sharing good practice and making valuable connections (rather than overtly selling), supporting Somerset’s construction industry to thrive. Attendees who supply into the industry are respectfully asked to consider this ethos at Construction Connections.
