Somerset Chamber of Commerce is continuing to work closely with other Chambers and the British Chambers of Commerce to ensure the UK-EU trade agreement is implemented as smoothly as possible, with clear and precise guidance from Government.
We are here to support our members and, like others in the Chamber network, we view the trade deal struck at the end of 2020 as the end of the beginning – there is much work still to be done.
Chambers will continue to amplify the concerns of their members and are already working hard behind the scenes to seek clarity on a wide range of issues for businesses seeking to trade with the EU as our CEO Stephen Henagulph explains in this short video (or see bottom right).
A summary of the full 1,246 page UK-EU agreement can be found here.
