New Fire Regulations
New fire regulations came into force on 1st October 2006.  Virtually all premises with the exception of single domestic dwellings now fall within the scope of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.  The responsibility of adequate fire safety in the workplace falls squarely on the "responsible person."  Fire safety arrangements have to be put in place and will be under-pinned by a Fire Risk Assessment.  For more information please telephone: 0845 345 9188 or visit: www.firesafetyguides.communities.gov.uk
