The SSP have committed themselves to work together with local Government, other public services (such as health, police and learning providers), businesses, and voluntary and community groups to develop a vision for the future of Somerset - a vision which covers the next 25 years and beyond, and which extends across all areas of life in the county, from education and health to technology and the environment. Continuously shaped by the views, opinions and needs of people who live and work here, it aims to make sure that over the next 25 years, Somerset develops into a world-class place to live and work, and leads the field in key areas such as quality of life, cultural diversity and economic growth.
